Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, booking a session, or engaging LensStory (“we”, “us”, “our”) for photography services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.

Services and Booking

We provide professional photography services including but not limited to weddings, pre-wedding shoots, newborn and baby photography, birthdays, corporate events, and other occasions. Booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment and a signed confirmation (where applicable). Dates and times are subject to availability.

Payment Terms

Advance payment as specified at the time of booking is required to secure your date. Remaining payment is due as per the package or as agreed (e.g., before delivery of final images or on the day of the event). We accept the payment methods stated on our website or communicated to you. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. In brief:

• Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or message).
• Advance paid may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on how close to the event date the cancellation is made.
• Rescheduling may be permitted subject to availability and may incur an administrative fee.

Copyright and Intellectual Property

All photographs and other creative works produced by LensStory remain our intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered images for personal, non-commercial purposes (e.g., prints, albums, social media for personal use). You may not sell, license, or use the images for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. We retain the right to use the images for our portfolio, website, social media, and marketing unless you have requested otherwise in writing and we have agreed.

Use of Images by LensStory

Unless you object in writing at or before the shoot, we may use a selection of images from your session for our portfolio, website, blog, social media, and promotional materials. We will not use images in a manner that is defamatory or inappropriate. If you prefer not to have your images used for promotion, please inform us before the session.

Client Obligations

You agree to:

• Provide accurate contact and event details; ensure venue access and necessary permissions where required.
• Cooperate reasonably during the shoot (e.g., timings, poses, locations) so we can deliver the best results.
• Inform us of any special requirements, restrictions, or sensitivities in advance.

Delivery and Storage

Delivery timelines for edited images (or other deliverables) will be communicated at booking or after the event. Delivery is typically via online gallery or other agreed method. Please refer to our Storage Policy for how long we retain your files and your responsibility to download and backup images.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from our services or this website shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant booking. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data or images due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., equipment failure, force majeure). We recommend you backup all delivered images.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold LensStory harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms, your use of the images beyond the licence granted, or your conduct during the session or use of our website.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. Continued use of our services or website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. For existing bookings, the terms in effect at the time of booking apply unless otherwise agreed.
